Monty Dent

Monty Dent has over 30 years of experience in sales and business development. Monty started their career in 1989 as an Account Rep at GMAC Bank. In 1993, they became the Owner of Booker-Dent, Associates, where they worked as a manufacture rep covering New Mexico, El Paso, Utah, Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. In 2000, they became a Sales Manager at iHeartMedia, where they led and motivated a professional sales team. In 2015, they took on the role of Business Development Manager at WESCO Broadcast & Network Solutions, a national distributor and integrator of satellite, broadcast, and CATV products. In 2021, they became the Director of Sales at Satcom Resources, a company specializing in high-quality satellite communication equipment design and sales. Currently, Monty Dent is the Director of Sales, North America at Expedition Communications, LLC, a Veteran-Owned business and integrator of high-quality Satellite and VSAT products and systems.

Monty Dent has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from University of Phoenix. Monty also holds certifications from Udemy, Norsat International, LinkedIn, and Udemy, including Project Management Fundamentals: Quality Management (September 2022), Norsat LNB (November 2021), Microsoft Visio Masterclass (January 2021), Sales Prospecting (January 2021), The Complete Cyber Security Course: Network Security (January 2018), and The Complete Cyber Security Course: Hackers Exposed (November 2017).
