Anthony Herrera

Anthony Herrera has over 30 years of experience in the satellite communications industry. Anthony began their career in 1985 as a Network Build Technician for Equitorial/Contel ASC. In 1986, they were promoted to Network Supervisor at Equatorial Communications. In 1987, they joined Advanced Micro Devices as a DataComm Technician. In 1989, they joined Hughes Communications Inc. as a Sr. Applications Engineer, and the same year they joined Hughes Network Systems as a Sr. Program Manager. In 2005, they were promoted to Director at ViaSat. In 2009, they became a Business & Operations Consultant at SatWays. In 2010, they joined Spacenet as a Senior Program Manager. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President - Operations at Expedition Communications, LLC. In 2016, they joined Intelsat as a Customer Assurance Advisor, where they work to ensure customer satisfaction by providing interface with customers and various divisions within the Intelsat organization.

Anthony Herrera attended the Navy Anti Submarine Warfare Center from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a U.S. Navy Technical Schools degree in Advanced Electronics. Anthony then attended Foothill College from 1986 to 1987, where they earned a Certificate in Data Communications.
