Jason Young

Jason Young has extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Jason is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Expel. Prior to this, they worked at The Washington Post as a Principal Software Engineer from October 2020 to March 2022, and as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2018 to October 2020. Before their time at The Washington Post, they served as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Asymmetrik from March 2016 to June 2018. Jason also gained experience at Cisco as a Software Engineer from October 2013 to February 2016, and at Sourcefire - Acquired by Cisco as a Software Engineer from June 2013 to October 2013. Early in their career, they worked as an Associate at TriTek Solutions from July 2010 to March 2013, and as a System Application Development Assistant at the University of Maryland from September 2006 to May 2010.

Jason Young attended the University of Maryland from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
