Nabeel Zafar

Nabeel Zafar's work experience includes a position as Principal Software Engineer at Expel, where they led projects to automate security workflows and improve the end-user analyst's experience. Nabeel also worked as a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer at Mandiant, designing and implementing cyber forensic applications and creating shared libraries for React components and Kafka microservices. Prior to that, they served as a Staff Software Development Engineer at FireEye, where they were a subject-matter expert in cloud-based content delivery and led a team of 6 members. Nabeel also worked at Thermopylae Sciences and Technology as an Engineering Manager and Product Owner, overseeing the growth and execution of geospatial web and mobile products, and as a Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Entourage Systems, where they developed and managed an online content system. Earlier in their career, they were a Software Engineer at Tellabs, playing a pivotal role in enabling the sale of a fiber to the home solution with VoIP.

Nabeel Zafar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from George Mason University. Nabeel has also obtained additional certifications, including Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in 2018, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2013.
