Kelsey Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design. Kelsey started their career at Virginia Cancer Institute as a Marketing Intern in 2013. Later, in 2015, they worked as a Cognitive Coach Intern at Brain Balance Achievement Centers. In 2016, they served as a Marketing Consultant and Ecommerce and Social Media Intern at K12. Kelsey then joined North South 804 Apps in 2017 as a UX Designer, where they worked on creating interactive designs and conducting usability testing for mobile apps. In 2018, they became a member of the Expel team, initially working as a UX Designer and later being promoted to the role of Senior UX Designer and eventually Principal UX Designer. Their achievements at Expel include designing a popular cybersecurity metrics dashboard and facilitating workshops for customer advisory board meetings. Kelsey also developed a framework for configurable features to streamline the UX design process. Overall, Kelsey has demonstrated strong UX design skills and a track record of successful projects.

Kelsey Mitchell attended the University of Virginia from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cognitive Science and Art History. Prior to that, they attended Trinity Episcopal School from 2007 to 2012 and obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. In addition, Kelsey has also received certifications in User Experience, including the User Experience Circuit from General Assembly and Introduction to User Experience Design from Coursera Course Certificates.
