Nicholas Faenza, Ph.D., P.E., CFEI has a strong background in materials science and engineering. Currently working as a Principal Engineer at Exponent, Nicholas leads teams and manages projects to assist clients in designing safer battery-powered products. Prior to this, Nicholas conducted research at Rutgers University focusing on layered oxide positive electrodes. Additionally, as a Research Assistant at NIST and the University of Maryland, Nicholas gained experience in flame retardant coatings and nanoparticle effects on plant cells. Furthermore, Nicholas has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, where Nicholas taught science and engineering principles to young students.
