Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas has over 10 years of work experience in various roles related to human resources and people management. Chris began their career as a Language and Intercultural Trainer at Banco de España, where they worked on a contract basis from 2008 to 2009. Chris then joined Reed Specialist Recruitment as a Recruiter from 2009 to 2011. Chris then worked as a People Advisor at Cosine from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they became a Human Resources Business Partner at Nielsen, a position they held until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Chris worked as an HR Business Partner at the University of Oxford, where they also served as a Professional Development (L&D Business Partner) from 2017 to 2018. Chris then became the Head of HR operations and wellbeing at Saïd Business School from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Chris joined Exscientia as the Head of HR before being promoted to Vice President, People in 2021. Chris is currently working in this role. Additionally, Chris has been serving as an Advisory Board Member at Singular: Building Brilliant Biotechs since 2023 and will be joining Record Games Ltd as a Business Advisor in 2024.

Chris Thomas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance for Managers from Oxford Brookes University in 2007.
