Eric Helmer

Eric Helmer has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Eric is currently the VP Head of Early Development at Exscientia. Prior to that, they worked at Galapagos as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology from 2017 to 2021. From 2012 to 2017, Eric held the role of Director of Clinical Pharmacology at UCB. Eric also worked as an Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Takeda Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd from 2007 to 2012. Before that, Eric was a Principal Scientist at Johnson & Johnson from 2000 to 2007 and a Preclinical PK Manager at LABORATOIRES FOURNIER SA from 1997 to 2000.

Eric Helmer earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmacokinetics and biopharmacy from Université Paris Citė, from 1989 to 1996. In addition, they obtained a Certificate in Human Pharmacology from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physic in 2011.
