John Scott

John Scott has extensive work experience in the field of synthetic chemistry and drug discovery. John currently works at Exscientia as an Associate Director, where they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Evotec, where they held various roles including Group Leader, Team Leader, Senior Scientist 1, and Senior Scientist. Their tenure at Evotec lasted from May 2003 to September 2022. Before joining Evotec, John worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Nottingham from 2000 to 2003.

John Scott received their BSc in Chemistry from the University of York between 1993 and 1996. John then pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of East Anglia from 1996 to 1999.
