Shiree Berry

Shiree Berry, MD, FACS, currently serves as the Department Chair and Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at HCA Houston Healthcare since January 2023. In addition to these roles, Shiree Berry has been the Regional Trauma Medical Director for Extant Healthcare since July 2022, and holds similar positions with Envision Physician Services and Acute Care Surgical Specialists since 2014. Previously, Shiree Berry was the Assistant Trauma Medical Director at Houston Northwest Medical Center, Inc. from January 2018 to April 2021, and completed a residency in General Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, where the role of Chief Resident was held. Shiree Berry earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Claremont McKenna College. Education commenced at St. John's School, culminating in a high school diploma in 1998.
