Matthew Herrington

Matthew Herrington is currently the EVP and COO of Extra Space Storage. Matthew previously worked as a district manager for Simply Self Storage from April 2007 to June 2009, where they were named District Manager of the Year in 2008. Before that, they worked as an assistant district rental manager for Penske Truck Leasing from November 2004 to April 2007. In this role, they managed all functions associated with residential rental activity for the Kansas City market.

Matthew Herrington has a professional certificate in real estate finance and development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Management from Baker University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a finance emphasis from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
