Tanmay Desai

Tanmay Desai is a seasoned project engineer with diverse experience in the engineering and oil and gas sectors. Currently serving as Project Team Lead, BTC Recruitment and ITP Lead at ExxonMobil since July 2022, Tanmay is responsible for planning and executing greenfield and brownfield projects. Formerly a Project Engineer at Worley, Tanmay managed the REDIIGreen Biofuel Project for Shell Pernis Refinery in the Netherlands. Prior roles include significant contributions to projects at Tecnicas Reunidas and Heurtey Petrochem, where responsibilities encompassed project planning, procurement, and fabrication. As a SWE Global Ambassador since July 2023, Tanmay promotes women leadership in STEM careers. Tanmay holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University.
