Edison Mellor-Goldman has a diverse work experience that spans from 2012 to 2022. In 2012, they were an Intern at MoveLA, a public transportation advocacy group, where they called and emailed transportation advocacy partners and government offices to ask for support for MoveLA initiatives. In 2013, they were a Marketing Intern at Power2Sustain, a nonprofit that integrates environmental education into common core lesson plans for K-12 students. Edison worked on marketing concepts for Bagito, a re-useable bag whose proceeds fund the Power2Sustain project. In 2014, they were an Owner Advisor at Tesla, where they became a technical expert on Tesla products as well as the nascent EV market and ICE competition. Edison also hosted on-site and at-home test drives between call campaigns. From 2016 to 2022, they were at EZ Texting, first as a Strategic Account Manager and then as a Customer Success Manager. While in this role, they led their team in revenue and developed a reputation as a trusted peer leader. Edison also assisted with the development of the team's upsell and adoption practices, which resulted in the team hitting monthly revenue goal for 6 consecutive months.

Edison Mellor-Goldman attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies.
