Julia Vassiliadou, PhD

Julia Vassiliadou, PhD, has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and management.

From 2023 to the present, they hold the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at F2G.

Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, Julia was the Vice President of Clinical Operations at MiNA Therapeutics. Julia'sresponsibilities included leading the delivery strategy for all clinical trials, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing CRO partners and laboratory vendors.

Julia also worked at GSK, where they held various roles from 2002 to 2021. Julia'spositions included Vice President & Head of Global In-Country Clinical Operations, Country Medical Director, Quality, Risk Management & Medical Governance Director for Europe, Senior Scientific Advisor, Head of Country Clinical Operations, Global Clinical Study Manager, and Country Study Manager.

Before joining GSK, Julia gained experience at SmithKline Beecham as a Senior CRA and CRA.

Throughout their career, Julia has demonstrated leadership, expertise in clinical operations, and a strong track record in delivering results within the pharmaceutical industry.

Julia Vassiliadou, PhD, has an extensive education history. Julia obtained their B.Sc/M.Sc in Biology from the University of Athens in Greece from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, they pursued their Ph.D. in Reproductive Immunology at Newcastle University Medical School in the UK from 1993 to 1996. After completing their Ph.D., they continued their academic pursuits at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, where they worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the field of Human Immunology from 1996 to 2000.
