Simon Blackwell

Simon Blackwell is an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel at F5, having joined in May 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held various legal leadership positions at BT from August 2011 to July 2022, including Head of Legal for BT Security and Head of Legal for BT Defence and Security, where responsibilities encompassed managing legal teams, overseeing complex contract negotiations, and advising executive boards. Simon's earlier career includes roles as a Commercial Solicitor at Bevan Brittan LLP and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, specializing in commercial, procurement, and intellectual property law. Simon completed the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law and holds a BSc in Law and German from the University of Surrey.
