Samer Barakat

Samer Barakat has over 12 years of work experience in operations and project management. In 2021, they were appointed as the Director of Operations at FabricAID. Prior to that, they were the Operations Manager at ASK SAL (2019-2021), Main LB (2018-2019), Beesline S.A.L. (2016-2018), and Indevco (2014-2016). From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Manufacturing Project Manager at Caterpillar USA. Samer started their career in 2008 as a Black Belt Project Manager at Prince Industries, where they conducted a Black Belt project to optimize up time on laser cutting machine Bystronic 6KW, resulting in machine uptime going to 95% from 67%.

Samer Barakat obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1996. Samer then went on to receive a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, and Marketing from the same university.
