Javier Leal Cortés worked as a software developer at FacePhi Biometría since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a technical director at Innova Publicidad from July 2011 to September 2017.

Javier Leal Cortés attended the Universitat d'Alacant from 1995 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a degree in Ingeniería informática and earned the title of Ingeniero informático.
