Utkarsh Anant

Utkarsh Anant's work experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at Faclon Labs beginning in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at VERDIS as a Machine Learning Developer from May 2022 to September 2022. In this role, they developed the Demand Analytics module, achieving 90% prediction accuracy for future demand using various ML techniques and performing sentiment analysis and topic modeling on customer reviews. Before VERDIS, Utkarsh was an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from November 2020 to April 2022. In this role, they utilized ML algorithms to estimate ship parameters for least resistance and conducted feasibility studies on previous ship data to identify optimizations.

Utkarsh Anant's education history begins with their Intermediate degree at Spring Dale College, which they completed from 2000 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Indian Maritime University in Visakhapatnam, which they completed from 2016 to 2020.

Utkarsh then furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Technology (MTech) in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. This program spanned from 2023 to 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Utkarsh has also obtained various certifications. They earned a certification in Statistics for Data Science and Business Analysis from Udemy in April 2022. They also completed a Time Series Analysis in Python 2022 certification, also from Udemy, in the same month and year. Furthermore, Utkarsh obtained an IBM AI Engineering Specialization certification from Coursera in March 2022.
