Ada Osakwe

Non Executive Director at Factor[e] Ventures

Ada Osakwe has a long and varied work experience. Ada began their career in 2011 as Vice President at Kuramo Capital Management. In 2012, they were Senior Investment Advisor to the Honourable Minister of Agriculture for the Government of Nigeria. In 2015, Osakwe founded and became Managing Director of The Nuli Juice Company and also founded and became Managing Partner of Agrolay Ventures. In 2016, they were invited to join the World Economic Forum's community of Young Global Leaders. In 2017, they joined the Board of One Acre Fund and in 2021, they became a Non Executive Director at Factor[e] Ventures, a Business Mentor at Norrsken, and Advisory Board Member at IAMTHECODE FOUNDATION, as well as a Board Member of AGRA (Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa).

Ada Osakwe obtained their BSc in Economics from the University of Hull between 2000 and 2003. Ada then attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and obtained their Master's Degree in Economics and Finance between 2003 and 2004. In 2009, they earned their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. In 2014, they completed an Executive Leadership program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Most recently, in 2019, they completed a Leadership in the 21st Century program at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on Business.
