Daniel Zysman

Head of Learning and Argentina Business Development at Factored

Daniel Zysman has worked in various roles in the field of education and learning since 2013. Daniel began their career as a Learning Scientist and Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they implemented and managed new undergraduate and graduate curricula with emphasis in computational thinking and quantitation in the brain and cognitive sciences. Daniel then moved to the Center for Brains, Minds and Machines as an Educational Advisor, providing general advice to the educational and diversity mission of this Science and Technology Center. In 2020, they took on the role of Educational Consultant, integrating computational thinking and internship opportunities in machine learning and artificial intelligence in the Argentinean K-12 system. Daniel also worked as a Content Reviewer and Teaching Assistant for Neuromatch Academy, a non-profit course in computational neuroscience offered online. Currently, Daniel is Head of Learning and Argentina Business Development at Factored.

Daniel Zysman completed a Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology from the University of Buenos Aires between 1998 and 2005. Daniel then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biology with a focus on Computational Neuroscience at the University of Ottawa, which they completed in 2010.
