Marco Plaats

Marco Plaats has extensive work experience in the field of IT management and operations. Marco has most recently served as the Global IT Director at Fagron since November 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager Service Management & IT Operations at DHL Supply Chain BeNeLux from January 2016 to November 2020. Before joining DHL, Marco worked at Atos, where they served as the Global ICT Operations Manager at NXP Semiconductors from September 2014 to December 2015, and as the Manager System Management at ING from July 2008 to August 2014. Marco also gained experience as a Team Leader at Getronics PinkRoccade from January 2007 to July 2008, and at Arbo Unie, where they held various roles including Team Leader from April 2005 to January 2007 and System Administrator from 1997 to 2006.

Marco Plaats attended NCOI from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a HBO Bachelor's degree in "Bedrijfskundig Management" with a specialization in "organisatie en verandering". Prior to that, they studied at Albeda College in Rotterdam from 1996 to 1998, earning a degree in MBI with a specialization in Informatica.
