We're looking for an experienced marketing leader who is hungry and motivated to own the marketing function at Fairmatic, end to end. This includes team leadership, strategy & planning and day-to-day execution. You will be ultimately responsible for driving business impact through marketing.  Reporting to the Head of Growth you will partner with the internal stakeholders in our sales team to ensure that our marketing is aligned with their needs, use innovative methods to attract new business, improve on current marketing, and maximise our Broker outputs.

You will be excited by a role where you can get your hands dirty, test out new ideas, build our marketing plans, and own a vital function of a rapidly growing start-up. You also understand that we aren't a global Insurance business (yet!), we don't have unlimited marketing funds, low-cost methods, and creative ideas that maximise our exposure are going to be essential!

A day in the life:

  • Own overall Marketing strategy and planning, across all domains. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth.
  • Set marketing KPIs. Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, broker relations, product development, and customer success, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance.across product marketing, lifecycle marketing, sales/channel enablement, content creation, and brand/PR functions
  • Define and execute demand generation programs and broker marketing initiatives to build a marketing funnel and optimize conversion  Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights translating findings into actionable recommendations for marketing, product, sales, and other teams
  • Work closely with insurance brokers to create programs for generating demand and improving conversions

Your experience:

  • 8+ years of experience at a mid-market or enterprise B2B company, preferably focused on selling insurance or financial services through channels
  • Strong expertise in broker/agent channel marketing and a track record of driving business results through innovative marketing strategies
  • 3+ years of experience leading the entire marketing function, specifically strategy, planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • 3+ years of experience managing at least 2-3 individual contributors focused on various sub-domains / functions within marketing
  • Successful track record driving business outcomes within set/allocated budgeted
  • Previous experience owning the day to day execution of demand generation and acquisition through both B2B/partner and direct to customer channels, mostly leveraging unpaid/organic tactics
  • A knack for successfully influencing other teams/functions based on what marketing is learning about the market, customers/personas, and competition - driving results through non-marketing initiatives (a humble and team-first approach to driving impact by enabling/empowering others as needed)
