Mark Wasserman

Mark Wasserman, CPA, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at the Fairmount Park Conservancy since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Finance and CFO at White Horse Village Inc. from June 2020 to May 2023.

From January 2011 to May 2020, Mark held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Abramson Senior Care, where they managed various departments and led significant projects. Their responsibilities included overseeing a full continuum of geriatric care and managing an approximately $50 million endowment.

Before joining Abramson Senior Care, Mark worked at Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) as a VP of Development from January 2008 to January 2011, and as a VP of Internal Audit from March 1999 to December 2007.

Mark began their career at Deloitte & Touche, where they served as a Manager in their Dispute Consulting Services department from April 1998 to March 1999. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Mother's Work, Inc. from August 1997 to March 1998.

Mark's earlier experience includes roles at Coopers & Lybrand, where they served as a Senior Associate in Financial Advisory Services and Associate in Business Assurance from July 1993 to August 1997. Mark also held the positions of Senior Litigation Consultant and Auditor during their tenure at Coopers & Lybrand.

Mark Wasserman CPA, MBA has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Penn State University. Mark also attended Susquehanna Township High School. Later, they received their MBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Wasserman has additional certifications including a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals obtained in 2001 and a Certified Public Accountant.
