Gideon H.

Gideon H. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2003, they served in the Royal Navy until 2010. Following that, they worked as a Next Generation Access Engineer at Openreach from 2011 to 2016. In 2017, Gideon joined British Telecommunications Public Limited Company as an IS & Technology Strategy & Evolution Analyst, specializing in analyzing and reporting on the migration of the BT Sales Support framework. Gideon then became an Information Systems Engineer at Cerco IT Ltd, responsible for installations and maintenance of computer systems and network support. In 2018, they joined FDM Group as a Senior Information Security Consultant, advising on security issues for projects migrating to major Cloud Service Providers. From 2020, Gideon also served as a #IamRemarkable Facilitator at g.co/IamRemarkable, hosting workshops and being an ambassador for the initiative. Currently, they are working as a Cyber Security Lead at oddschecker Global Media.

Gideon H. completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from The Open University between 2016 and 2021. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications in the field of information security and cloud technology from institutions like LinkedIn, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, and (ISC)².
