Laurence Tanty

Laurence Tanty is an experienced business leader with a strong background in board governance and commercial transformation. Currently serving as the Chair of the Fairtrade International Board and the Chair of the People Committee since June 2021, Laurence also contributes as an Independent Board Member at Travel Sentry. Previous roles include Business Strategy Consultant at Carr's Group plc, Commercial Director at Devro, and Transformation Advisor at Insigniam, where significant achievements include reversing sales declines and implementing transformative strategies for large organizations. Laurence has held prominent positions such as CEO Worldwide at LINPAC Group and President of SARA LEE Household & Body Care, and possesses an MBA in International Business from The Wharton School and a Business degree from ESCP Business School.
