Vice President of Investment Finance at Fairway America

Kathryn Taylor has over 8 years of experience in finance and accounting. Kathryn began their career in 2012 as a Senior Tax Accountant at EY, where they prepared tax returns, credit and deduction calculations, and performed ASC-740 tax audits. Kathryn also reviewed 10-Qs and 10-Ks to help estimate, calculate, and document tax calculations, and advised companies on tax aspects of transactions. In 2015, they moved to Ora Fiduciary (Cook Islands) Limited as Financial Controller, where they performed all internal financial and accounting functions, including month-end close, A/R and A/P, preparing invoices, financial statements, tax returns, budgets, account reconciliations, and payroll. Kathryn also performed ad-hoc reporting and variance analysis on a regular basis, primarily in Excel. In 2016, they joined Vanderhouwen - Aequitas Receivership as a Senior Accounting Consultant (Forensic/GL), where they performed general ledger accounting and analysis duties for over 20 entities, and performed forensic accounting research to uncover prior-period accounting issues and evidences of insolvency. Finally, in 2017, they joined Fairway America as Vice President of Investment Finance and Portfolio Finance Manager, where they built financial models to track and analyze the performance of debt and equity investments in Fairway’s managed funds and syndications, and managed and grew the department.

Kathryn Taylor attended Saint Mary's College of California from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and English.
