Michelle Bair

Michelle Bair, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Michelle is currently the President and CEO of Faith In Practice since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Memorial Hermann Health System as the Director of Development, Major Gifts from January 2020 to October 2022. Michelle also held the position of Director of Development, Advancement Services, Annual Giving and Planned Giving at the same organization from July 2014 to December 2019. Before joining Memorial Hermann, they worked as a Professor at the University of Phoenix from January 2011 to December 2017. Michelle also has experience with the University of Houston, where they served as Project Director, University Advancement Analytics from July 2013 to July 2014 and as Associate Director of Annual Giving from August 2011 to July 2013. Michelle also worked at Texas Tech University as Associate Director, Office of Community Engagement from October 2009 to December 2010 and as Project Manager, Strategic Planning and Assessment from March 2009 to October 2009. Furthermore, they have experience in the arts sector, having worked as a Development Fellow at The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra in 2008 and as a Development Officer at the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra from January 2007 to May 2008. Michelle began their career as a Graduate Instructor at Texas Tech University in September 2003 and served until May 2008.

Michelle Bair, Ph.D. has a strong education background in the field of arts administration and music. Michelle earned a Ph.D. in Fine Arts Administration from Texas Tech University. Prior to that, they completed their MM (Master of Music) with a focus on Music Performance/History at Texas Tech University. Michelle also holds a BM (Bachelor of Music) degree from the University of Florida, specializing in Music.
