Sandy Rubio is currently a Graduate Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on genetic techniques to understand Autosomal Dominant Leukodystrophy. Their previous experiences include being a Family House Coordinator, Biology Tutor at the University of California, Merced, Epidemiological Researcher, and Case Investigator at Firebaugh City Council. Rubio also worked as a Nicotine and Cannabis Policy Center Researcher and interned at Bitwise Inc. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and are pursuing a Master of Science in Human Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh.
