Tiarra Comer

Tiarra Comer is an optimistic, solution-focused community organizer from Dayton, Ohio. She began her professional career as an educator with Teach for America, before transitioning into partnership development. Tiarra recently joined FII in May of 2020 as the Partnership Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to joining the team, she served as the Director of Community Partnerships & Programming and a Wraparound Site Coordinator for Cleveland Play House. In these roles, she functioned as a neutral facilitator in the provision of services for students, families, and residents of the neighborhood by generating resources from a wide array of community organizations and agencies. With 10+ years in non-profit and community organizing, she has used a strengths-based approach to uplift communities across Ohio.

Tiarra has a Masters of Education in School Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and a B.A. in Psychology and African American Studies from Ohio University.
