Astar Herndon

Astar Herndon is an advocate, community organizer, and fundraising strategist with close to 15 years of nonprofit experience. Her work includes advancing paid sick days and paid family leave policies in the Illinois and Wisconsin State legislatures. As a corporate fundraiser, she empowers communities with the ability to creatively address demands with sustainability and vision. Herndon received a B.S. from Chatham University and M.S. from DePaul University in Public Policy.
