Megan Taylor

Megan Taylor has a diverse work experience in the field of family support services. Megan started their career as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist at The Arc of the St. Johns, where they organized educational activities for adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions. Megan then worked as a Child Protective Investigator at the Florida Department of Children and Families, where they investigated reports of child abuse and neglect and provided support to families in need. Megan later joined Family Support Services as a Family Service Counselor, managing a caseload of children in out-of-home care and facilitating their reunification or adoption. Megan was promoted to the role of Family Service Counselor Supervisor, where they supervised a team of counselors and provided guidance on complex cases. Most recently, Megan served as the Placement Manager, overseeing the placement of children in foster care and addressing their complex needs. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Placement & Behavioral Health Services at Family Support Services, where they lead the teams in identifying safe placements for children in foster care and ensures their mental and behavioral health needs are met. Throughout their career, Megan has prioritized collaboration with community partners and advocated for the safety and well-being of children.

Megan Taylor has a strong educational background with a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Trine University, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Flagler College, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.

Aside from their degrees, Megan Taylor also has additional certifications. In April 2017, they obtained the Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) certification from the Florida Certification Board. This certification indicates their expertise and qualifications in the field of child welfare case management.
