Swapnil Patole (ICG)

Swapnil Patole has extensive experience in the field of color grading and post-production. Swapnil is currently the Regional Head of the Independent Colourist's Guild (ICG) in India, where they are actively working towards the growth and support of the colorist community in various platforms including film, television, advertisements, and OTT. In this role, they are responsible for organizing activities such as awards nights, master classes, trainings, and workshops for knowledge sharing and technology evaluation.

Prior to their current position, Swapnil worked as the Chief Colourist (ICG) Di HOD at Famous Studios, where they specialized in creating grades for commercials, OTT platforms, and feature films based on the director's and Director of Photography's vision and storyboard. Before that, they served as a DI colorist at 'after' post production studio, where they enhanced colors for films and commercials according to the director's vision.

Furthermore, Swapnil gained experience as a colorist at PIXION.CCL, where they worked from 2007 to 2011, and at Prime Focus from 2004 to 2007. In these roles, they focused on grading feature films for satellite channels and TV shows using various grading systems and recording devices. Overall, Swapnil's work experience showcases their expertise in the field of color grading and their commitment to supporting and growing the colorist community in India.

Swapnil Patole (ICG) attended A.H Wadia high school from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Commerce. Swapnil later enrolled at Bhavans College from 1999 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Economics.
