Bin Chen

Bin Chen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. They started their career as a Co-op at Ethicon, where they evaluated new alloys for suture needle applications and researched the reduction of bacteria in wounds. Following that, they interned at Ethicon, collaborating with the Microbiology Department to design experiments and analyze the antimicrobial effects of nonwoven materials for medical applications.

Bin then joined TE Connectivity as a Development/Process/NPI Manufacturing Engineer, where they supported the validation schedule, optimized processes through DOE, and led the NPI team to achieve significant lead time reduction for new products. They later served as an NPI Team Lead, overseeing the design, development, validation, and production of new products.

After TE Connectivity, Bin worked at Boston Scientific as a Supplier Engineer II and later as a Design Quality Assurance Engineer II, focusing on quality control and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Following their time at Boston Scientific, Bin joined Allergan as an R&D Quality Engineer III, contributing to the company's quality initiatives.

Currently, Bin is the Principal Quality Engineer at FARAPULSE, Inc., responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards within the organization.

Bin Chen attended Penn State University from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science & Engineering.
