Anabela Moreira has nearly 20 years of work experience, with a focus on HR and talent acquisition. Anabela obtained a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu - Especialização in Ciências Sociais e Humanas from the University of Évora in 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from the Universidade do Minho from 2013 to 2015. In 2011, Anabela received a Licentiate degree in Psychology from the Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Porto. Their first Licentiate degree was in Law, which they obtained from the Universidade de Coimbra from 1995 to 2001.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Anabela has also obtained several certifications. These include becoming an International Certified Coach from the International Coaching Community in October 2017, obtaining a Certificação Profissional em Coaching Humanista from Conceitos do Mundo | ONGD in November 2016, and becoming an International Certification Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the IANLP International Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming in July 2014. Anabela also holds various language certifications, including the CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge in February 2009, the TKT - Teaching Knowledge Test from the University of Cambridge in October 2008, and the CAE - Certificate of Advanced English from the University of Cambridge in March 2006.
