Brenda Hogan, MBA, RN, ACM has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Brenda began their career as a Nurse Manager at Maury Regional Medical Center, where they were responsible for managing the newborn nursery and coordinating various aspects of women's services. During their time there, they played a key role in obtaining a Certificate of Need for NICU beds and was involved in data collection and collaboration with physicians and Vanderbilt.

Following their role at Maury Regional Medical Center, Brenda joined United Healthcare as a Disease Management professional. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing specific disease states for large groups of members, ensuring they were aware of available resources and utilizing preventative services to promote optimal health and minimize long-term costs. Additionally, they worked with quality to survey medical office records and compile data.

Brenda also worked at Trevecca Nazarene University as an Adjunct Professor, where they likely shared their expertise and knowledge with students in the field of nursing.

Prior to their role at Maury Regional Medical Center, Brenda worked at the TN Center for Performance Excellence as a Senior Examiner, conducting assessments and evaluations for organizational excellence.

Currently, Brenda holds the position of Director of Health Services at Farm Bureau Health Plans. In this role, they oversee and monitors various aspects of utilization management, care management, disease and chronic care management. Brenda prioritizes the well-being of the members, aims to improve programs, manage costs, and deliver positive outcomes. Brenda also ensures a thorough understanding of medical costs and population health for both commercial and Medicare Advantage programs.

Brenda Hogan, MBA, RN, ACM has an extensive education history in the healthcare and business fields. Brenda obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Trevecca Nazarene University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their MBA, Brenda completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis between 1996 and 1998. Brenda began their educational journey at Columbia State Community College, where they earned an Associate degree in Nursing from 1981 to 1985.

Additionally, Brenda Hogan has obtained the certification of Accredited Case Manager (ACM) from the National Board for Case Management in November 2013.
