Shawn Silver

Shawn Silver serves as the Chief of External Affairs at Farm Sanctuary since January 2023 and has been a member of the Board of Directors for Citizens for Los Angeles Wildlife, Inc. since 2015, focusing on wildlife protection and habitat restoration in Los Angeles and California. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Advancement and Events and Events Manager at 826LA from February 2017 to January 2023, and President of Friends of Wonderland, where efforts were geared towards supporting vital educational programs. Shawn co-owned Dutch Touch Art Company from 2006 to 2012, overseeing art direction for hand-painted oils inspired by the Netherlands' Golden Age. Earlier career highlights include positions as Director of Development and Supervising Producer at Film Garden Entertainment and Producer at GRB Entertainment, with a focus on creating and overseeing various television series. Educational background includes a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
