Timothy Bryant

Timothy Bryant has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT. TIMOTHY is currently working as CISO and Sr Director of IT & OT at Farmer Brothers, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, Bryant worked as an Author for LFM: Linux Field Manual in 2021 and PTFM: Purple Team Field Manual in 2020.

Before their work as an author, they served as the Technical Director of Cyber National Mission Force at United States Cyber Command from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they led strategic direction for national cyber protection teams, managed funding for new platforms, and oversaw mission risk mitigation strategy.

From 2018 to 2018, Bryant worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at United States Cyber Command, where they developed scalable mobile computing platforms and implemented cloud-based architectures.

Prior to their work at US Cyber Command, Bryant worked at the United States Air Force from 2013 to 2018 in various roles, including Systems Engineer and Network Defense Manager. In these positions, they initiated hardware updates, optimized technical requirements, and spearheaded cyber protection squads.

Bryant's career also includes experience as the CEO and CIO of Down to Earth Computing, a profitable computing business, where they oversaw all strategic operations, technical requirements, personnel, marketing, and finance. TIMOTHY also worked as an IT Specialist at Western State Colorado University.

Throughout their career, Timothy Bryant has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, technology innovation, strategic leadership, and team management.

Timothy Bryant obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Colorado University in 2012. In 2016 and 2017, they completed a Certification Course in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare at the United States Air Force. In 2022, they received a Master of Business Administration in Data Analytics from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Additionally, Timothy holds several certifications, including (ISC)2 Security CISSP, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst, DISCOVERY & COUNTER-INFILTRATION PROFESSIONAL, and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification.
