Rob Bushell

Rob Bushell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rob started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at BT in 1995. Rob then worked as a Purchasing Systems Executive at Rail Gourmet UK Ltd (Swiss Air Group) from 1997 to 2000.

From 2000 to 2002, Rob worked as a Software Engineer at Valid Information Systems, where they developed a re-architected and rewritten version of the RKYV document management software.

In 2003, Rob joined Tally Systems (Novell) as a Software Engineer, where they developed a web-based LAN inventory management and installation discovery software.

Rob joined Renesys Corporation in 2004 and held multiple roles during their tenure. Rob started as a Software Engineer and played a crucial role in building the company's web applications. Rob then became a Lead Software Developer, managing front-end and middle-tier teams, and significantly contributing to revenue growth. Later, they took on the role of Software Development Manager and was involved in defining job roles, expanding engineering, and introducing QA and UX functions. Rob also had responsibilities in project and product management, including customer interactions.

From 2013 to 2014, Rob worked as a Product Manager at Renesys Corporation, driving research, analytics, and delivering customer value through route monitoring and performance analysis.

In 2014, Rob joined Dyn as a Senior Technical Product Manager in Internet Analytics. Rob built world-class Internet Analytics products and led the development of the Internet Intelligence product suite.

From 2017 to 2019, Rob worked at Oracle as a Principal Product Manager - Edge Services. Rob launched two major features to the Oracle Cloud platform and integrated Dyn's analytics and monitoring into Oracle Cloud.

Since 2019, Rob has been working at Fastly as a Staff Product Manager.

Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated their ability to analyze customer needs, define product direction and requirements, build cross-functional teams, and deliver on business goals.

Rob Bushell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at The University of Sheffield, graduating with honors, from 1990 to 1993. Rob then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Modern and Contemporary Fiction from the same institution, which they completed from 1993 to 1995. Rob furthered their education by earning a Master of Science degree in Computing Science from Birkbeck, University of London, attending from 1998 to 2000.
