Danielle Barrera

Danielle has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, focused in the medical provider and managed care payer sectors. Prior to joining FastMed, she served as Chief Operating and Marketing Officer for RediClinic, where she assembled and led a dynamic team to grow and develop a sustainable business model, ultimately expanding into one of the largest multi-state retail clinic operators. She also served as the Chief Operating Officer for Health Dialog – a population health and medication adherence company, where her focus was transforming the organization’s delivery model and improving outcomes. Both RediClinic and Health Dialog are wholly owned subsidiaries of Rite Aid Corporation.

Danielle also served as the Director of Occupational Medicine for Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and Health Network Providers (HNP), the largest healthcare system in Southeast Texas and the largest Independent Physician Association (IPA) in Texas. At Memorial Hermann, she managed all hospital and employer worksite clinic operations, as well as the insurance related product lines for both the IPA and general marketplace.

Danielle has served on numerous healthcare related boards and was named as one of the most influential women in retail for three consecutive years. Ms. Barrera holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
