Marcus Leao Filardi, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Marcus Leao began their career at Brasif in 2010, where they served as a Controller until 2013. Following this, they worked as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual from 2013 to 2014. Marcus Leao then joined National Life Group as an Associate Financial Representative from 2014 to 2015. From 2014 to 2016, Marcus worked as a Financial Representative at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America/Park Avenue Securities, developing lasting relationships with clients and providing holistic financial solutions. In 2016, they joined Arven Financial, LLC, a member of the MassMutual Financial Group, as a Financial Services Representative, focusing on various financial concerns for clients. Marcus also had a role as a Real Estate Agent at Cervera Real Estate from 2016 to 2017. Marcus Leao then worked as a Real Estate Agent at Fortune International Realty from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Marcus became the Director of Sales and Business Development at SupraBrokers. Most recently, they joined Fat Tuesday in 2021 as the Vice President of Operations. In 1990, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Universidade Catolica do Salvador, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General. Following this, from 1997 to 1999, Marcus pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance at Fundação Getulio Vargas / FGV. In 2000, they further honed their statistical skills by earning a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from INDG.

In 2004, Marcus attended Ohio University for a brief period, studying International Business Management with a specialization in International Finance. Four years later, in 2008, they enrolled at the University of San Francisco and completed a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, focusing on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.

Furthermore, Marcus has obtained several additional certifications to enhance their professional skillset. In 2000, they earned the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Fundacao de Desenvolvimento Gerencial in Brazil. In 2013, Marcus became a Certified Life Insurance agent through the Florida Department of Financial Services. In 2015, they obtained the Registered Investment Representative certification, Series 6, and in 2016, they became a Real Estate Sales Associate through the Miami Association of Realtors.
