Andrew Gillespie

Andrew Gillespie is an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney at the Fayette Commonwealth's Attorney's Office since December 2020, following previous roles as a Law Clerk at the same office. Gillespie earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Kentucky. Additional experience includes a legal internship with the Office of the Governor, a summer law clerk position at Fayette Circuit Court, and a revenue account analyst internship at Norfolk Southern Corporation. Early career roles also involved supporting a gubernatorial campaign and directing summer camp activities at Kirk Family YMCA.
