Tushar Sorathiya

Qualitätsingenieur at FBGS

Tushar Sorathiya has a strong background in fiber optic sensing components and solutions. Tushar worked as a Production Engineer at FBGS, where they were responsible for fiber concentricity inspection, signal measurements, fiber proof testing, and characterization. Tushar also worked on grating inscription using lasers within a cleanroom. Prior to this role, Tushar was a Measurement Assistant at the same company.

In 2018, Tushar worked on a Master Thesis Project at FBGS, focusing on investigating multi-FBG-arrays for sensing. Tushar developed mathematical models using Octave and MATLAB for FBG characterization and conducted experiments for FBG strain and temperature analysis.

Before joining FBGS, Tushar had an internship at BSH Home Appliances Group, where they gained experience in research and development. Tushar worked on installing and aligning experimental setups, data acquisition and evaluation, and the characterization of MEMS-based micro-spectrometers.

Throughout their work experience, Tushar has demonstrated a strong technical background in fiber optics and instrumentation, as well as the ability to conduct experiments and develop mathematical models for characterization and analysis.

Tushar Sorathiya obtained a Master's degree in Scientific Instrumentation from Ernst abbe Hochschule jena, which they pursued from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they completed an Industrial Automation Engineer Training program at Sofcon India Pvt. Ltd. in November 2013.
