David Speakman

David Speakman is an experienced shipbroker currently working at Fearnleys since April 2020. Prior to this role, David served as Chartering Manager at Heidmar Inc. and ATHENIAN TANKERS (U.K.) LIMITED. David's career in ship brokering began at Galbraith's Limited, where a tenure of over eight years was spent. Before entering the shipping industry, David worked as a Business English Teacher at Kai En English Language Training Center and held analyst positions at Citi and Goldman Sachs. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from The University of Edinburgh from 2000 to 2004.
