Douglas Huntsman is a highly experienced aerospace professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Manager of the Engine/Propulsion Section in the Central Certification Branch at the Federal Aviation Administration since September 2014, Douglas has held various key positions including Program Manager at the Fort Worth Aircraft Certification Office and Aerospace Engineer as the Organizational Management Team Lead. Prior to joining the FAA, Douglas spent nearly a decade at Boeing as a Lead Project Engineer specializing in Integrated Avionics Verification. Douglas began the professional journey at United Space Alliance, where roles included Astronaut Trainer for Guidance, Flight Control, and Propulsion, as well as Aerospace Engineer. Douglas earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1985 and 1990.
