Kathleen Burke

Kathleen Burke serves as Special Counsel at the Federal Communications Commission since September 2023, following a tenure as Policy Counsel at Public Knowledge from May 2020 to September 2023, where advocacy focused on spectrum and copyright policies protecting public interests. Previous roles include Remote Law Clerk at the Law Offices of C. Michael Finen, Google Policy Fellow at TechFreedom, and various tutoring positions at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Early career experience encompasses managing Anekdota Studio as Photographer and Owner, Director of Education and Outreach at Fayette Alliance, and Assistant Photographer at Angela Anderson Photography. Kathleen holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Transylvania University.
