Erin G. Devereaux

Erin Devereaux is vice president and associate general counsel in the Legal department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In her role, she advises on issues related to bank supervision and financial stability, as well as directs and oversees corporate law matters for the Bank. She has expertise in numerous areas, including employment law, administrative law, immigration, and leasing. She is also an ethics officer for the Bank.

Erin joined the Bank in 2015, and held positions with increasing levels of responsibility prior to her promotion to assistant vice president in 2020. She has also held a number of System roles, having served as the legal liaison to the System's Law Enforcement Group, the chair of System attorney work groups, and the System's legal liaison to the Office of Women and Minority and Inclusion Council. At the Bank, Erin served as the chair of the Bank's Diversity and Inclusion Working Group.

Prior to joining the Bank, Erin worked as an attorney and advisor for the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board and as a law clerk for the Marine Corps.

She received her bachelor's from Brandeis University and her law degree from Georgetown.
