Micah Ragland

Micah Ragland is a seasoned communications and public affairs professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Vice President of External Affairs at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since October 2021, Micah has previously held significant positions such as Director of Corporate Communications at DTE Energy and Director of Global Communications at Walmart. A background in public engagement was established while leading efforts at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Micah also has a strong political communications foundation, having worked as Northeast Political Director for Obama for America and as Communications Director for U.S. Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/International Relations from Morehouse College.
