Jamie Garcia

Jamie Garcia has an extensive career in financial supervision and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Examinations for the Capital Markets Supervisory Team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since October 2020. Prior to this role, Jamie was the Associate Director of Capital Markets at the same institution. From September 1997 to October 2020, Jamie worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta as a Senior Credit Risk Examiner, overseeing credit risk management and asset quality reviews for various banking organizations, with expertise in commercial and industrial lending, among other areas. Jamie's career began at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as an Assistant Bank Examiner from June 1991 to August 1997. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida State University, earned between 1987 and 1990.
