Omar Allauddin

Omar Allauddin has a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on WebFOCUS and business information systems. Omar began their career in 2008 as a WebFOCUS Developer at the Louisiana Department of Revenue, where they provided development, maintenance, and support for the WebFOCUS environment. Omar then moved on to ASM Research in 2010, working as a WebFOCUS Consultant to develop reports for a web application serving the Navy.

In 2011, Omar joined ActionLink as a Senior WebFOCUS Consultant, developing sales reports and graphs for an external web application. Omar then moved on to Experient, where they continued to work as a Senior WebFOCUS Consultant, developing reports for a web application that focused on client event information and historical data comparison.

In 2012, Omar joined the United States Department of the Treasury: Financial Management Service as a Senior WebFOCUS Consultant, developing reports for a new accounting web application. Omar then joined Soroz Inc in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in WebFOCUS projects and working on analysis, design, development, support, implementation, and maintenance of business information systems.

Most recently, Omar has been working at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where they started as a Software Engineer in 2016 and worked their way up to Senior Software Engineer and currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer. Additionally, they have taken on the role of Senior WebFOCUS Consultant, where they have been involved in WebFocus report development for a Grails web application that provides payment information and has been involved in converting Groovy code from WebFocus SOAP API to WebFocus REST API during a WebFocus upgrade.

Omar Allauddin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology from The University of Memphis, completing their studies between 1998 and 2002. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from 2002 to 2003.
