Aine Farrell has an extensive background in regulatory investigation and policy analysis, with notable experience at the Federal Trade Commission since July 2016, currently serving as a Supervisory Federal Trade Investigator in the Division of Advertising Practices. Prior to this role, Aine worked as an Investigative Analyst at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on criminal investigations related to passport and visa offenses, and as a Continuity Analyst at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where responsibilities included managing continuity programs and drafting guidance for DHS components. Aine's earlier experience at the Federal Trade Commission as a Paralegal/Investigator involved consumer protection against deceptive advertising practices. Aine holds a Master’s degree in Security Policy Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, both from The George Washington University.
